Who we are

A "hands-on", developmentally appropriate Preschool & Pre-K program that is licensed by DCYF and that follows the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards.

At Bright Start Academy, we combine learning and play. This enables us to provide your child with the opportunity to explore his/her environment to the fullest extent.

We offer:

• Four-hour "1/2 day" Preschool & Pre-K sessions.
• Full-day child-care availability (7am - 5:30pm), which includes Preschool/Pre-K sessions.
• Choice of two, three, or five day options.

Where we are

Conveniently located in Greenville on Rte. 44 (Putnam Pike) with easy access to Rte 116, Rte 5, and I-295.

Over the past ten years we have had families from all over northern RI attend our program. We are easily accessible for families who live or work in the towns of Smithfield, North Scituate, Johnston, Glocester, and Burrillville.

• Story Time with Miss Annie from Tunes-n-Tales (at no additional cost).
• Formal Sign Language classes are taught by Miss Jeanne twice a month (at no additional cost), and signing is incorporated into daily activities.
• Theme related field trips.
• We provide morning and afternoon snacks.
• We don’t watch TV or movies!
• All staff members are CPR & First Aid certified.
• We have affordable rates at a great value for all that is included.
